Welcome to the office of Dr Scott Harden, Dr Maarit Harden, Dr Ness McVie and Ms Leisa Tanner.
Dr Scott Harden is a child, adolescent and adult clinical and forensic psychiatrist. He has been in private practice for approximately 10 years and continues visiting sessional public practice.
In his clinical practice he has particular interest and experience in evaluation of anxiety disorders and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in young people and adults. In his forensic practice, he has experience in a range of legal and treatment settings with young people and adults.

Dr Maarit Harden is a general practitioner and trained cognitive behavioural therapist. She has been in active general practice for 20 years.
In her clinical practice she has particular interests in the overlap between medical illnesses and psychological function and the effects of stress on physical symptoms. She also has particular interest in the treatment of anxiety disorders.

Dr McVie is a general adult clinical and forensic psychiatrist. She has over 16 years experience as a consultant psychiatrist including 6 years in private practice in general adult psychiatry.
She is currently an assisting psychiatrist to Queensland’s Mental Health Court.
Her main interest areas are in forensic and administrative psychiatry, including clinical systems risk analysis and criminal forensic psychiatry.
Ms Tanner is a social worker and qualified family therapist who has over twenty years of experience across a range of settings including Child and Youth Mental Health, Child protection and domestic violence sectors. For the past five years she has worked in the private practice offering individual and family therapy and supervision to other practitioners. As well as providing therapy she has been employed as a family therapy tutor at the School of Social Work UQ and as a consultant to organizations such as Act for Kids. Whilst employed at Child and Youth Mental Health Leisa coordinated and supervised a family therapy team for a number of years. More recently she has conducted CBT skills training to GPs alongside Drs Maarit and Scott Harden.
